6-Way Breakout Leads, now in 4 sizes
These clever, new 6-Way Breakout Leads now come in 4 different sizes. The new cables share a common part to connect to a Multimeter (DMM) or Oscilloscope. The other half of the breakout lead sets (in four different connector pin sizes) divides into two: one with 6 male ends, and the other 6 female ends, thereby allowing a 'breakout' connection of up to 6 wires, between almost any vehicle sensor or actuator! (Miniature, small, medium and large).

Use these breakout leads to quickly and safely make a dynamic test of a circuit or component, without the risk of a poor connection or a short circuit.
Simply unplug the component connector; check the size of the pins used; select and connect the correct size breakout lead and clip it into the common end for connection to the test instrument - and start testing safely and surely!
Add a set to your tool box now, and put an end to other risky, unreliable methods.
Where possible, avoid static tests which often prove nothing! To make a dynamic test, the component needs to be operating, or trying to operate. It needs to be turned on.
Measuring voltage and current at the same time allows a clearer view of events, making accurate diagnosis a more straightforward job. These leads may greatly aid that operation!
